Title: Airbag fault
Post by: cartwheel on October 07, 2010, 08:35:26 pm
Checked a few theads regarding this and seems most people have this issue when removing their head unit. I was pulled over playing with the highline settings and it came on (and stayed on!).

I was playing about with the passenger side deactivation key switch earlier this afternoon (sad I know, I've only had it a week!), would this affect it? Any ideas?

TIA

Assuming nothing is wrong then VCDS can reset it, if there is a problem VCDS will tell you.

So as you may have guessed, VCDS is your friend

I've guessed vcds is my friend, unfortunately I don't have it, don't know how to get it (cheap!), or know anyone who has it (other than garages who will charge an arm and a leg for it!

Can anyone help? Anyone... (I'm in Croydon btw)

Saw Mo yesterday who managed to get it sorted.

Cheers buddy, I'll drop those beers over in the week. :happy2:
