Title: F#CKING Keyfob!!
Post by: MancBen on October 08, 2010, 03:02:46 pm
Is it too much to ask, when I press the open button, it un-locks all my doors (and boot) ??

1 press opens the drivers door - ok

multiple presses seems to open the other doors, sometimes.. apart from when it's pissing it down, or when my hands are full and I want to put something in the back, or on the passenger seat.

Can it be programmed to open all doors / boot with one press of the fob ? (and not re-lock itself after one nano-second). Just like a good old fashion central locking system.

It's really getting on my tits !!

Cheers,
Ben

Yes it can, have you got Highline?  If so you can sort via there, if not, you will have to get the VCDS on the case.  But it is all possible.

Or get your VW dealer to do it for you.

Mine was friendly the last time I went down and they did some coding for free... others charge a hefty price

Its a cable and a bit of software. Very helpful! I'm currently borrowing someones to log my car but it allows you to change all the settings your car has. I think they are about £150 tho
