Title: Cruise Control

Fitted cruise control stalk today, 07 gti dsg, highline and mfsw. I bought the kit with the extra wire but it was already present, so didnt need it.

Put it all back together, the stalk works i.e. lights and indicators, but the cruise doesnt register. No lights come on to acknowledge that it is present. Will this be a coding issue? or are they plug and play?

You will for sure have someone nearby in milton keynes, maybe worth having a look on some other VAG forums.  I can put you in touch with someone in NN29 if that helps.

Nice going......I wouldn't have tried that myself personally  :surprised:
VW actually have a special on at the moment for the cruise control which I took up, £150 all in  :jumpmove:

might be cheaper than normal, but the stalk only costs £60
