I traded one in against my Golf. Here's a pic outside the dealer on pick-up day.

I always wonder when I see people post stuff like that, Tara.

So, is it something you've just said for fun or are you being serious??

the two scenes are like chalk and cheese, never understand why people who like cars would say i hate all french cars? depends what you want? would i prefer a passat over a laguna to ferry my kids about? yeah, would i prefer any german hot hatch over a french one to have fun on a track? no, both are good at what they do.

French car build quality seems to have improved over the years, but from past experience with friends, i'd be happy if i never owned a French car in my life!
Also, from the days of a mate working for GSF, i dont quite comprehend the madness of French Car makers that feel that every car has to have a different part for the same job, there was almost no crossover between models, at the same time we discovered that i think it was wheel bearings for the then brand new and just released Lupo were the same as a 1960's beetle..... German efficiency at work - why make a new one when the old works just as well and the best bit about that was that it made parts cheaper and easier to get

French cars have always been too plastic for my liking

mmm not so sure about the wheel colour Matt but ill be able to see you from a mile off thats for sure.

If i had to choose a "track sl@g" colour it would probably be red.

I think it will look better when stripped with a green cage and some other colour matching.

All the wheels had bad kerb damage so anything looks better than the mess on the wheels and as it's a fun car to drive I thought y not have the wheel a fun colour

It isn't quite finished yet, but I'll stick some up soon.

Get a 172, I was having great fun at Snetts with a mate in his 200 and another that turned up - we've got our own Clutter Cup race series!

Oulton's full, but next one is Donny - so you've plenty of time to get both your cars in order. Circuit Days (http://www.circuit-days.co.uk/event_info.asp?id=352)

Stolen recovered, no bump damage that I'm aware of. If anyone can do a hpi I can provide the reg. Car drives and performance like you would expect of a 2010 car

not for 14k mate, did not know they were doing r26 on 10 plate though.

They weren't, that's why I asked! The latest R26's were on a 58, as far as I know.

Stolen recovered yet needed paint? It'll be a near write off if he's spent money on painting it and can afford to sell if for about £5k less than book. HPI check means nothing if it was never listed in the first place.

Can post some pics later but I think it was the dealer that sprayed it White and put decals on it as a demostator. He never painted it himself
