Title: Brake Pad Wear Light - Help Needed Please

Hi Everyone,

not been around for a while ! but back now and need some help.

I have changed the pads and discs on the GTI, with OEM genuine parts from TPS.

Unfortunately the warning light is still on, I took it to VW the other day and they said it should be off but they would not help me because they did not change the brakes !  :confused:

Anyway, How do i get the wear indicator reset / off ?

on the left side brake pad, did you reconnect the wiring for the wear indicator?

I canturn it off permanantly for you? Easy enough
