hi guys . not been around for a while but im back now , a few things have gone on , the mk5 has been away being mapped for 6 weeks , he had a problem witht the fuel pump and i said to him not to rush it and take his time , and he did lol ! im not too bothered as i have another car anyway .

i have also sold my mk1 which was all a bit of a knightmare as the new owner broke down on the way home and threatened me and my property , long stoty short but i had to get the police invloved and it turned out to be a fuel pump , in a normal surcumstance i would have offered to help him fix it but after the way i was treated i felt far from helpful .

anyway enough of that , with any luck i will be at the rr day in the mk5 :) oh i have also bought a 1999 passat estate as i comfy sensable daily hack and i love it !

If you buy a second hand car especially an old one then you have to expect things to go wrong, it may have been on the way home but still a little common decency would have served him better in the long run.  Must have been a horrible experience for you, although im sure some good figures on Saturday will cheer you up!

You're gonna lurve your Mk5 after so long!

yeh the bloke was a bit of a fruit and nut , i thought when i sold the car i would have been gutted (which i was for a few hours) but the whole affier has left a reather bitter taste in my mouth , and yeh i cant wait to have the mk5 back . its going to be mega compared to the passat lol

Shame Martin. I desperately wanted your Mk1 too. Just wrong timing. Id have been a little friendlier, use to old Golfs breaking down on the way home.
