Gutted , managed to kerb my passenger side front 17" Monza on a kerb on my way home from work - my own fault I know , its left about a 3 inch gouge out of the rim  I havent got a pic of the damage , but is this type of damage able to be fixed as a smart repair? If so any reccomendations on firms to do the job?
Cheers.

It hurts doesn't it! :(
After spending going into great detail to my girlfriend about how easy the 18s on our Gti were to kerb, I managed to catch the passenger side on a damaged kerb in Tesco carpark in the dark. :ashamed:
Think yours should be an easy fix though. :)

a few years ago i went to test drive an M3,they gave me the keys to a brand new car and sent me off for a couple of hours.within 5 minutes of setting off to show all my mates i'd kerbed the front nearside alloy.when i took it back i parked in the far corner against a wall! Last week i kerbed the gti so the question is do i have it sorted now or wait untill there are a couple more?

Ive also been parking too close to the kerb and done a right job on mine. Been recommended Chips Away by someone on another forum so am getting this round to sort it out.
As yours are 17 they aren't diamond cut so any mobile wheel refurb company should be able to sort you out.
