Did my first track day today and loved it and it won't be long before I do another.

The S3 performed fantastically had a great time dicing with my 2 mates in their Elise's :happy2:

Obviously I have nothing to compare it with, but Anglesey circuit is an absolutely fantastic track, undulating and technical and in a lovely spot :happy2:

your not wrong,
the lad in the red Elise is a bit of a ring veteran,
has done a BTG in sub 8 mins on his bike, soooo smooth in the Elise Too :happy2:

The PS3's were spot-on Steve, stood up to my ham-fistedness (is that a word?) very well.

............and the TD's look absolutely awesome  :drool:  They Really suit the S3 and must say, as a second set of wheels for trackdays, I don't think you could have done better.  :happy2:

Are you running the stock brakes still? Sorry I can't remember if you upgraded them  :ashamed: ...................you probably did  :smiley:

I'll have to say it again bud, some great photo's.  :congrats: Some desktop backgrounds to be proud of!

runnin Dave's drilled discs, braided hoses and M1144's and they coped today for 5/6 laps, which isn't bad really considering there are 2 hairpins at the end of the 2 straights breaking from 100mph, but they did need to come in for a cool then :happy2:

how did the S3 brakes take to the track?  were you on full oem setup or tweaked?

runnin Dave's drilled disks, braided hoses and Mintex 1144's, they did pretty good to be fair, Anglesey has 2 hairpins at the end of 2 100mph straights so is pretty hard on brakes. They got fuk1n hot though and needed to c a rest after about 6/7 laps :smiley:

Superb, looks like a really good day for it too.

That many laps on a near standard set up isn't bad at all really around there, if you need any advice on anything though, just ask  :happy2:
