Title: What to do about worn cloth bolster !

interior and the driver side bolster on the seat back is badly worn (thread bear in places).

I am assuming others must have had this problem and wondering what they've done? will a decent upholster be able to sort it? can you get the covers from VW? or should I keep an eye out for a decent 2nd hand one.

Post by: VWKD on October 21, 2010, 02:41:47 pm: Bit of an update.. just spoke to the stealer and they will do the seat back for £172.21 or they will supply and fit for £436.21 (ouch!)

I'm suspecting picking up a good 2nd hand set might be the way forward or maybe

So will an upholster be able to do it without the need for the cover from the stealer ? ie just find some matching material for the bolster and stitch that in
