What options for a uprated clutch do I have (ED30)?
I will be doing the fitting so just need supplied prices :happy2:
-
you can have uprated sachs coverplate and clutch with standard DMF.
Or same with SMF.
Or southbend different stages.
Or Helix.
Or APR DxD.

Ive gone with the Helix steel SMF with 6 paddle drive plate for the vRS. Its not fitted yet, but I will give a review once it is. Ive used and fitted loads of Helix clutches and Sachs, and prefer the Helix offerings. They just seem nicer to use day to day. Do you want to keep your dual mass?
We have just added all the Helix prices to our website so take a look :happy2:

Alex, can you do the Sachs coverplate and clutch to go with standard DMF?
Pricesfor supply only please

I've had the sachs clutch in my vRS for 50+K miles and apart from stiffer pedal it acts just like OEM.
Rated to about 390lb/ft aswell iirc

We dont currently do Sachs, but the Helix kit for the dual mass is £475 + vat.

i have a single mass helix kit and it is mega , zero slip ! a rad stiffer and noiser but defo worth it if chasing power or wanting to use what you have .

I've read many times that smf's can be noisier but I've never heard what type of noise it is. Can you explain it please? Is it just more a rumble from the transmission or a different type of noise? Thanks :)
