Title: Loose item in dash?

Hello All,

Yesterday when driving I noticed a rattle in the dash. It souns like  a small item within the top part of the dash is rolling the whole width of the car and back again when I corner each way etc?

Anyone have any ideas where it might be so I can access it and retrieve it?

I had the rattle from behind the topvent months ago and felt taped alot of areas and tightened all loose screws so I was thinking of starting there but couldnt remember a recess that ran the whole width of the dash? As this is what it sounds like its doing.

As you can imagine its driving me insane!!

Sounds like something has been dropped into the vent system - i suspect the front window demister vents.

Scuttle panel, my bet is a pebble in the ledge there.

Have a look around the area below the wipers.

Hi Guys, Thanks for your suggestions. Will check scuttle panel but it sounded like the windscreen demister area. Has anyone removed theirs before?
