Creams, Browns, Natural
Looking for some images/links to people that have got these sorts of colurs in there lounge.
Have a complete soft stone at the moment, with a brown and cream sofa.
Ideally looking for a good feature wallpaper? and nice contrasting colour? not good at these things???
Yes, may sound a little camp lol but do need some colour/wallpaper tips........ready for the new V series Panasonic and setup to go in......
Like a clean look, noting toooo busy or dramatic.
OOooo and with my corner sofa (pretty big and the TV in the opposite corner - what wall should I have as the feature wall......?
Really basic rectangle room, window one end door on side....no feature fireplace

Hi chap,
Why not build a faux fireplace, with a space for the TV (recessed), and a 'units' slot undernieth (for Sky box, dvd etc etc.. Have your 3 seater sofa directly opposite. This is what I have done anyway. The fake chimney breast is just finished in a dark brown textured paint, side walls are light cream.
I'm not one for decor much though, leave that to the Mrs. Maybe have a look in somewhere like Housing Units at their display areas for Ideas too.

if you want feature paper then check these guys out http://www.ukwallpaper.co.uk if you get past the basic website (their shop is like open all hours which is no bad thing) for ideas as they do real retro stuff which is superb, fortune favours the brave :happy2:

People - need a top tip......
When doing just one wall in wallpaper (feature wall) it is a blank wall no fireplace or feature - where would be the best place to start - dead centre? in the corner? or one strip in from a corner????
Yesssss GAY I know.
-
Centre and work out. Ensure the paper is plumb vertical too.
More work as you almost always have to cut two strips of paper when you get to the corner.
