DOes look pretty interesting actually and a tidy install too

I recall seeing a similar, but much better version. It had a full colour OLED (I think) display 8) - I'm sure I first noticed it on the TT Forum. Can't for the life of me remember what it was called though! :ashamed:

nice :happy2:

Or Liquid TT (being as I noticed it on a TT) - so prolly yes. Anyone got any links? Maybe the www.TTshop.co.uk does them?
-
Here we go - these are for the Mk1 TT - http://www.ttshop.co.uk/access.asp?cat=2001&catalog=6232

Thats them.... ive only seen one golf with one installed, but looks like a nice piece of kit!

Got a linky for the Golf install?
-
Ill have a dig around an see.... it was on a mk4 tho!
-
Was going to say, i have seen thoses ones before but didnt think they worked with the mk5 golf.
-
Developer had one (liquid) as a working demo on an A3 TDI, but haven't seen any updates for the TFSI. I had a few PM's with the developer over on the "other" forum and he was keen to get it out on sale and I was keen to buy, but he never got back to me after the PM's to say he'd cracked it.
-
yeah, that one does look good with that graph, thats amazing!
id be very tempted

I can't see why they are having probs developing one for the Mk5 - afterall, they are just piping EOBD data, so if they made it work on a Mk4, why not on the Mk5 . . . . unless CAN-BUS is screwing things up???? :surprised:

thats exactly what it is, I think they have got the derv stuff sorted but are still working on the petrol version

Yes, that is correct, the developer also wanted to be able to get the boost feature working through the OBDII, which was proving difficult.

I contacted Jim at Race Diag yesterday to check on this and the CAN version for petrol cars of the liquid gauge is ready and can be purchased, they are working on a Mk5 vent now.
I saw the PS3 one and that's what made me think of the liquid one, so as soon as they are available I will be trying to arrange a GB with them :happy2:
-
Maybe they should tap into the 'easter egg' secret codes in the Climatronic display!
I wish they'd crack this - I seem to remember this being discussed about 2 years ago. :surprised:
-
i hope they make a version or at least it be a shape we can custom fit somewhere else too. dont really want it in my vent.
we will see :)

I just realised that link i posted was for a Kufatec harness.
Youd think the quality and function would be pretty much OEM??

Be interested in this I also like the PS3 one as it keeps some of the vent functioning.
