Both on together, but if you pay for either you get in free for the other (or you did last year!), so if you don't want the live show.....pay to get in the classic car show

I'm going on the 14th :happy2:

Been a few times previously. Not paying for the extortionate prices this time.

If I do go, it'll prolly be on the Friday. How many halls does it usually take at the NEC?
-
The MPH show is usually two halls for displays of cars and then 2-3 halls for the live shows.
The classic car show is usually 4 halls of displays and then one hall for cars for sale and another for classic car rides. It takes a good full day to get around both shows. :happy2:

For anyone thinking about going or booking tickets use voucher code CLUB10 for a bit of discount! :happy2:

I went to this yesterday with my dad as a birthday gift for him....
It was really busy so hard to get near to any of the exotics which I expected TBH. The central stand featuring a Veyron, R8 Spyder, Astons Etc etc hadn't even bothered to dust the cars off and someone had even wrote "clean me" on the roof of an Aston Rapide! scandalous. we had done the MPH hall in just over an hour so spent most of our time in the classic car show (where there were some lovely golfs & bugs on show including an ED38 show winning Mk2 Gti with clean bay on the meguires stand)
Not any great deals from exhibitors either which was a shame as I was hoping to part with some of my old mans money for some decent wax but decided there are better deals online than at the show!
The Top gear boys were entertaining with a few digs at Ben Collins added to the humour. It was a good day out but agree that the £45 was a bit steep to cough up for the tickets with £8 parking fee on top of that! :stupid:

enjoyed the friday there as it wasn't too busy
classic car show just gets better with some lovely motors, agree a nice mix of VWs and was nice to see old friends from the VWOCGB , highlight was being allowed on the Ferrari stand so the wife could drool over the F40 and 288 GTO
mph hall was as disappointing as usual but the show made up for it as boys were on top form and the reliant/rascal footie was funny
think next year i'll do MPH at Earls Court and just do the classic car show
