Hi All,
Been lurking for some time and thought it may be a good idea to pop up some pics of my current car I have had for the last 18 months and introduce myself
Use the Golf as my daily hack, although it will be going in the new year with an ED30 purchase for the missus :jumpmove:
Really impressed with the numbers the GTi's make with relatively cheap mods, I come from the land of Honda tuning and had a Civic Type-R running a Jackson Racing Supercharger and285bhp...thing is it cost the best part of about £7k to achieve :stupid:
Anyhows the dirty diesel pics....and a couple of my previous cars.

It's a great site you have here and I look forward to getting involved within the community :chicken:
-
welcome to the site, some nice cars you have had,Is that a Williams Clio in the pics!..Have you any plans for the Golf
-
Yup Williams 1 No. 354 back in 1999 when I bought it, absolutely loved that car and relatively problem free for a Renault
Loads of plans for the Golf but got a new job earlier this year and getting a company car in Jan/Feb means this will go and my modding can be aimed at the GTi pruchase.
Have to admit I really wanted another Integra Type-R and to supercharge it but the missus has refused point blank to drive one with the chav spoiler etc
We have compromised on a modded ED30...not a bad compromise by all accounts.
-
Pics of said ed30!!
-
Got to buy it yet lol!!
Only a few months away...
-
ahh... keep your eye on the for sale section on here... the seem to pip up now and again!

Hi and welcome.
As above, a few people are selling up so there may well be the ideal-specced car for you.

Well your getting a GTI in couple months so may aswell wait for the car to arrive and put the grille on then, Trial fit it on the TDI for fitment sounds good, the fit is perfect just like the OEM grille. :happy2:
-
Welcome :happy2:

A trial fit has been carried out of my first mod for a GTi I don't own yet :ashamed:

Hi and Welcome... :driver:
-
ive got a 170 remapped by blackcode to over 200 now and pulls like a train and 40odd mpg to boot sweet :happy2:
-
Hi
Would have loved to of chipped and removed DPF but I just read such mixed results I didn't dare take the risk.
Car is just over 90k miles now and hopefully being replaced with a Scirocco GT derv in the new year, just need work to pull their finger out and order it for me.
