They should be a nice crisp bluey White colour if you have xenons. When you turn them on do you see the light it produces move up and down to check the levelling? You should be able to tell from the pics of the actual headlights posted above. I seem to remember xenon bulbs costing a lot more to replace than halogens! Good luck.

I believe they are 4300k D2S bulbs and are readily available on ebay.
Around £20 for 2.
I personally will upgrade to 6000k but that's not what I recommend.
Just what you can do.

@keano What do you use to keep it that shade of red?
Robins has gone pink  and mine is no where near as deep red?

Xenon bulbs rarely blow. Its even less likely that both would blow so close together. Xenon bulbs are a different shape so wouldnt fit into standard headlights and vica versa (with the exception of hid kit bulbs)

The Xenon bulb has a long metal rod attached via a wire to a glass vial.
It is like a filament but open.
The plug at the back is also round and black with a contact point in the middle.
There will also be a large red and black ignitor attached to the back.
Be careful it breaks and is £50!
