Opened the car today turned the radio on (with the ign off) so i could listern to it whilst giving the car a wash and as soon as i shut the door the radio went off? strange i thought so i turned it on again (ign off) and its asking for the 4 didgit code and telling me it has 2 chances left.
Has anyone experianced this problem before? how do i get the code?

Had something similar once. Have your tried rebooting the Navi by pressing < + > + i buttons on the top row of the unit.
Otherwise the dealer will need to provide the code.
-
How do re-boot it? just press the +i button?

Mate, SteveP's reply wasn't exactly cryptic. Don't have an RNS but looking at some Google images, press the first two buttons at the top left corner and the last button on the top right.
Kinda like ctrl+alt+del.

Also the reboot is done with the unit powered on (ignition doesn't matter).

All at the same time.

it could be an indication that the battery is on its last legs? low voltage/current on the battery being read by the RNS?
-
I'd sell it to me straight away! :happy2:
