Title: R-Line Fog Grilles

Iv found a couple of sites in the states that sell them but wondered if anyone new anywhere in the uk that sell them? Checked a few with no joy.
Is it worth asking the stealers?

you have pictures of them installed ?, do they look odd against the honeycombe ?

I'm actually swapping back to the honeycomb ones because I've decided that I no longer like them. lol!

They do look better with a straight head-on shot.

And I think they look the nuts on Matt's car, but not so good on mine....I think it's the white.

Yeah iv seen a few pictures with the honeycomb and think it looks ok, it has grown on me. Il order them monday and them see how we got on, cheap mod to remove if i end up not liking.

Post by: WhiteGTI on February 14, 2009, 08:41:29 pm: When I ordered them, they had to do a special order from Germany. They took around 5 days to get to the dealer. I went to one dealer before and they literally didn't have a clue. Luckily the other dealer were ok and found them!

Windrush Maidenhead are the good dealer - incase you have no luck with yours... :smiley: :smiley:

Edit: Have you got any more pics of that white gti you posted above? I notice he changed the centre grill to the horizontal slat design also. This may make them look nicer...?

I considered those R-line grills when I was researching how best to fit LED DRL's but I think they only look good on a black car. Personally I don't think the lower centre grill looks right with R-style slats either, but that's because it's strange when mixed with the honeycombe.

I've just ordered some OSIR carbon ones.

Which Audi's have honeycombe and slatted grills mixed? (I hadn't noticed any)

A friend of mine, Jamie, has a nice blue S3 and I tease him that he's got a Cadillac grill :evilgrin:

you must have ordered them back in August then Red leader, OSIR bits take an age to arrive. :sad: you wont be seeing those badboys until April / may time.

....I guess we just have slightly differing ideas about what we like for our own cars. These CF panels will fit around my DRL's better than the stock vents do and I already have a CF nose piece so I think they will go together okay.

There's not really a right or wrong but just what we individually do or don't like.

Yes, they fit the Jetta/GTI/GTSport bumper.
