Title: Fuel consumption quickie

Hi Guys had my GTI for about 6 months now and usually get about 320miles to a full tank of Vpower or Tesco premium about £60 where i live. i dont drive fast everywhere and usually 30 minute trips to work and back.
Does this sound about right, no mods on the car. (yet)

That could be right especially if you have a lot fo traffic, I generally get between 350-380 but generally longer journeys.

I usually end up filling after 280 so you aren't doing bad

yes sounds about right, i am 20 mins stop start and get only about 25mpg, about 280-300 miles to the tank...on longer trips I have managed 360 miles to a tank.

I am monitoring my usage via the Road Trip app on the iphone, seen 29mpg and 24.5 mpg recently, I sometimes think i would be better taking a longer more cruisey route into work to improve my mpg!  :stupid:
