Title: VW RNS 510 - Playing DVD's - stops every now and again

So I have installed my VW RNS 510, I'am enjoying the difference it makes, but every so often when playing DVD's it stops for a second and then continues, seems random.  The DVD's are orginals not copies, and they are clean, no marks or alike. It's like every now and again the buffer on the RNS510 hasn't kepted up.

So does anyone else suffer  this or heard of it before, and should I be worried.

I want to also sort out DVD in motion.... Anything advice on this would be great also.........

DVD in motion can be found on youtube i think. Don't forget tho it's not legal if it can be seen from drivers seat which this unit is.

Happens on my rns version a sometimes. The video in motion is okay but everytime you stop and switch off you have to press the button sequence again. Later firmware, 2680 iirc overrides video in motion so you can't use it. I tried it and tbh it's distracting.

yep, the video in motion hack no longer works with firmware 2680 onwards.  I learnt this this the hard way.  Haven't found a way round this...
