ive not had either personally, but a guy in work has had both the blackberry and IPHONE and said he would never get another blackberry again.  He reckons the IPHONE is in another league completely.

I still have one of these and its ace.  about 7 years old and still going strong.  fully submersible, and bouncable.  everything i need in a phone
