Title: The slippery slope - stage 2
Post by: mafri on November 05, 2010, 12:56:24 pm
Ok, so I got Revo stage 1 a few months ago, was very impressed, and.... it seems like the modding may continue!  :jumping:

It all because you get used to the power all-too-easily - I actually wondered whether I'd lost the map until I drove my GF's car and it felt like a milkfloat.

Anyway, I have plans for Stage 2. There seems to be some conflicting advice on what mods I need to do that. I think I need:

A downpipe - Milltek, I suspect. I'm really not bothered about the noise, so do I also need a catback? It's a lot of money on pipes if I do!
An air intake. I'm not keen on changing the engine cover, but it seems it can't be done without - so Evoms/Twintake, I think.

Do I need anything else?

Thanks

Martin

You do not need a intake for stage 2 just the down pipe is required.  :happy2:

I think the power only goes up a little  on stage 2, but the mid range is much improved and it is so much easier to drive. Nice a smooth, rather than all or nothing.  :happy2:
