Hi guys,
I am useless at acr stuff but would like to know more.
Would getting an uprated intake look after my stock clutch? i am running 282 bhp on an ed30 and more than 300lb ft. basically im saying that an intake is cheaper than a clutch and i want to save money in the short term and look to fit a quaife atb and then a decent clutch in the long term.
Many thanks
Nick

The only thing that can look after your clutch is you. Dont hoof it in big gears at low revs etc.

A intake will add power, so in theory will be worse for your clutch..
As said though, take it easyer in the higher gears, drop a gear or two to reduce the stress on the clutch.
I have the same problem as you (running 300+bhp) :sad1:

On a brighter note, most aftermarket intakes tend to move the torque curve to the right...
