Forget all that stealth rubbish! This is a car that looks the biz and will clearly deliver it.
But will it hit the production line?

humm, the side view isn't pulling my chain, but otherwise...

I'll take the engine..... But that's it! Front end is gross
-
Just looks like they have copied the Corrado sketches.................... :indifferent:
-
Im with you RR that is the car the TT should be and I think I said in a previous thread that it had a corrado look. I really hope it goes into production if you consider the IROC concept which carried the design cues through in a fairly un-watered down fashion into the Scirocco then I would be hopeful of a very good looking car!
Then my only concern would be can they get the right engine and a proper quattro system into such a car and with the right weight distribution, that would mean longitudinal engine, and even better the S-Tronic box and more sophisticated quatrro of the RS5
-
Scarily for me i find myself agreeing with the hard wired designer Red Robin. :chicken: I like it.
Though the rear end doesn't quite work for me. It looks like a Ford Probe.

Some people are missing the point with this car, It's not ment to be an all out designers car with looks to die for. Its a concept car that IMO actually looks very much like an updated UR Quattro SW  which is what it was pencilled in as.
I think they should put it into production but only sell it to people who are going to use it properly, and not the old lady down the road who doesn't even know what it is but likes the look of it and obviously has to much money :booty:
Go away old women bring it on middle aged thugs

^^^^
Oh I like the rear lights, matsu - Audi rear lights are so often disappointing.
-
Yep, it is a longitudinal 2.5 engine and based on a shortened chassis from the RS5.
408bhp, lightweight and probably very tuneable.
The only fly in the ointment is the price - which will probably be pitched around the GT-R, in which case there's no point in making it :sad1:
-
The only thing i don't like is the front.
That engine will be great and at last audi back to 5 potters. What they made there name with. I have driven a mates TTRS which has been bluefined with ~400bhp and its just so nice (yes Robin it even has miltek  ). Its just let down by the TiTy bodywork.
Audi will make this for sure as it will sell because of all the 5 pot worble fans like myself.

....I'm probably the only person who doesn't like the Nissan GT-R. I know it's very fast etc but I detest its looks and size. So, if money was no object, I wouldn't even consider a GT-R against this particular Audi.
-
+ the original(UR) Audi Quattro was never cheap anyway and thats before they went upmarket

at last ? never seen a rs2 or short wheel base robin ? or even a rs4 . man oh man .

I think Robin meens modern Audis
Audi at last getting back to doing 5 cyl engines i think is a good thing they made there name with the 5 pot engine both in motorsport and with owners. But when you have a look at the year they stopped making S or RS cars with the 5pot in(excluding the TTRS which i talked about in my post) Its a long time since they did them which is a shame.
