Hi there
Just had all my discs and pads changed and now they make my calipers look like crap, theyre a bit rusty and am thinking of replacing them too although just wondering how much they might set me back and if anyone has any for sale?

To change to the GTI setup you'll need to swap your hubs too!

Are you sure?
I fitted a complete R32 setup to a Touran and I didn't need to change the hubs they almost fitted with my eyes closed!
Same platform but I might be wrong?

The 1.9 tdi came with 280mm disc and FsIII calipers. GTI upgrade requires hub change.

The Touran is a 2.0Tdi Sport but I am sure my mates was a 1.9Tdi and he did the same.
But like I said I could be wrong.

Trust me you are correct in needing a hub change on a 1.9tdi as they are a complete hub and carrier unit in one. Also the gti and 2.0tdi are 55mm struts and the 1.9tdi is 50mm so therefore if you changed your hubs you will also need to change your suspension.

Ooo I dont really want to change a hub (whatever this is) lol im not that clued up i just want shinier calipers. I'll take a picture and upp it for you to see and get your suggestions :happy2:

Why not just paint your capliers red or whatever colour you want??
And then get some really good pads if you want to stop quicker!
