Revo installed - Stage 2, upgrade from Bluefin, already have DSg revo mod
All sensors went haywire, car no on limp home mode - reset didn't fix it....
Now have garage run around until they get it fixed.....

So what is the diagnosis. Do you know what is wrong with your car. :happy2:
-
doesn;t sound good, hope it is a simple fix
-
Time for a vcds scan to find out what's wrong.
-
What reset did you try?
-
heard of this on the other forum..where the owners went to get his car mapped and it went wrong,it turned out the car the owner had,had a trail map on it a few months back but never when back for it.

The airflow sensor 'failed', then there were failures for overpressure and the fuel rail on the test drive for Stage 2, replaced Stage 2 for Stage 1 after a call from Revo - on test straight into Limp Home home again.
Back to stock and all is fine, for the first mile, and back to limp mode.
Not good.

Its highly likley that something on the car itself is at fault and has been upset by the new map. Possibly a software issue, possibly a hardware/sensor problem but im sure it will be a simple fix. I had something very similar recently with an Audi TT that we installed REVO on, kep getting limp mode, all sorts of fault codes which didnt make sense etc.... turned out to be the bracket that holds the actuator was loose, didnt show any real faults when standard (other than feeling a bit sluggish) but as soon as more was demanded from it the fault was far more apparent.
Post up your findings once you find out the cause :happy2:

Interestnig feedback. Its been reset to stock and I am told revo say:
"revo agree it's likely a fault with the car is being highlighted by the software"
Although the VW software shows nothing and it works with Bluefin....help!
So i get it back in stock mode tomorrow and have to make the choice to put bluefin back on......and what if it happens at home - brilliant! Should have left well alone.
They do suggest getting the pump internals, modified cam tappet and a new fuel pressure rail sensor.
Thoughts?

Had a similier problem with a mk4 turbo, it had a supa chips remap, we installed a new map, and it wouldnt start, reset back to a standard map and it ran. replaced the ecu in the end.
