Title: fitting trs harnesses
Post by: chrishalfpenny on November 10, 2010, 05:05:21 pm
Im currently trying to fit some trs harnesses to my r32 to compliment the recaros i have recently installed. Im having a problem finding somewhere to mount the lap strap on the centre console side, Does anyone have any useful instructions/pictures of where I could mount it to?

Hmm, I forgot what a MK5 is like now. The seatbelt clip, is it part of the original subframe assy, or bolted to the tunnel?

Seat belt clip is no longer fitted as I didn't bother when fitting the recaros

I think the seat belt clip is actually part of the seat on MK5's

You're going to struggle. You either weld in a mount kit or try and find a location for an eyebolt in the subframe/rails - although this is a bit frowned upon from a blue book stance.
