Hi guys :drinking:, I could do with some info here on these pads.
1. Are they road legal ?, (also is not being Reg90 approved). Any insurance issues here ?
2. Will they give me a significant improvement on a stock GTI caliper ?
3. Do I need VDCS to remove any dash lights etc, due to no wear sensors ?
4. Best price and place to get them from.
5. The 'DS' pads dont fit our cars do they, just the DS2500 version ?
Thanks
Mark.

i have used 2500 pads on my mk1 and they were great (the car was light) as for insurance i cant see that being a issue . you can use your old pad loom and join it to stop any dash lights

DS2500 are a great pad and will give a marked improvement over the stock ones :happy2:
DS Performance range are available for the GTI caliper, i had a set prior to fitting my R32 setup, part number is FDS1641...
JKM performance stock both the DS Perf and DS2500 range

FDS1641 - I asked about this as I saw em' listed on JKM for the GTI, but on other sites it shows TDI application ?
Are the DS pads worth changing to ? ....or just go for the DS2500

They are definitely GTI fitment, TDI 140/170 models share the same caliper and pad as the GTI..

I found the DS Perfs to be a huge improvement over stock and more than up to fast road use and a few laps of the Ring :happy2:
