Hi Everyone,
I have just bought myself a 2006 56' reg 3 Door Black GTi 25k miles with the following options:
18" Monza Wheels
Factory Xenon Headlamps
Factory Sat Nav
Factory Sunroof
Winter Pack
Highline Computer
I-pod connectivity
Multifunction steering wheel
I collect the car on Thursday and can not wait!
I have ordered the R32 style rear lower valance with the exhaust cut out to one side to keep the original exhaust, from The Bay, but the bumper does not come with the reflectors. Does anybody know where I can source these from or the part numbers to order from VW please?
Also I want to retro-fit cruise control too. Can anybody enlighten me on how to go about getting this done?
I have booked the car in Essex to have a full custom leather retrim in Truffle leather!
I am planning to take the car to the ring in May also :driver: but will be sad to see my Abarth 500 go.
Also just to a big Hello to you all! :happy2:
-
Hi and welcome. That's a bloody good spec! How much you paying for it?
Have a search for cruise control in the search bit - quite a few people have done this. You need the stalk, may need repair wires and a few other bits'n'bobs.
Remember to post some pics up when you get the car. Or better still create a Member's Ride thread and updTe us on your mods there. :happy2:
-
Thank you for the welcome.
I paid £12,450 for the car.
Just counting down the days till I get it now!
Also planning to get ED30 rear lights or try tinting the originals as I have just found on the forum.

I am now officially a GTi owner!
Picked up the car today and a 8 hour round trip later I am back!
