Title: Edition 30 Console lights not working.

I have a slight problem on the Edition 30 which I am hoping is a quick fix.

As you can see from the photo below, the RCD500 headunit and some of the Climatronic illuminating lights are not working on the centre console, is this a common problem to do with blown fuses or have the lights themselves blown and need to be replaced?

I have had a look at the fuse box this lunchtime but have not been able to find any blown fuses, I took a picture below, can anybody tell me if anything looks out of place or a fuse is in the wrong place??

Seems unlikely the leds have gone either.

Like Rich says get it back if under warranty!

Post by: G60s GO on November 15, 2010, 06:51:27 pm: Have you taken the dash apart to see if it's something as simple as a loose connection at the back of it, it's not too difficult to remove the centre consol area, but can be fiddly if you haven't got any trum tools.

I popped into my local VW dealer and got all my details attached to the car now, I forgot to ask about the warranty thou :-(. But isn't the warranty only 3 years and I have a 56 plate :sad1:

But on the plus side I got them to agree to look over the car without charging me ect to find out what the problem is.
