Title: How Low Can I Go??
Post by: apollo13 on November 16, 2010, 06:05:55 pm
Hi guys and gals,

My 18'' Omanyts came off last month for a refurb and will not be going back on until spring. I have the stock gt tdi wheels back on for winter use.

Before they go back on I want to drop the car but not slam it as its my other halfs daily drive and I can't be doing with her slowing down for bumps ect and moaning about rubbing!

I was after H+R springs which will give me 30mm but Im worried about rubbing, the omanyts are on brand new 225/40 vreds so don't really want to change them. Also considered the pro kit but I read so many people are not happy with the minimal drop you get and end up changing them.

I think they'll be ok but would rather check with you guys first  :happy2:

I have H&R springs on mine and also Vreds. Take a look at my car in the members rides.

No rubbing issues, feels like stock to drive with. Low enough too.

Im running Monza IIs with 225/40 wound right down on FK konigsport coilovers, tucking front and rear and there is no rubbing whatsoever so springs will be fine dude!
