Title: What to do next?!
Post by: matski on November 17, 2010, 09:15:11 pm
You can see what i've done to my GTI in my signature, i've ordered a bigger brake kit, and i have about £500 left to spend, was just wandering what people thought the best mod would be? I was considering the K04 but they're quite expensive...any suggestions?!

Thanks

Oly

well you have revo stage 1 already so its already quite a bit faster than stock.

why not look into a few small handling mods that make a huge difference.

rear anti roll bars are around the £150 mark and very cheap to install.

Whiteline anti lift kit is around £140 region.  slightly more expenive to fit.

TT lower control arms.  less unsprung weight, and increased ADJUSTABLE front camber probably sup[plied and fitted for just shy of your £500

+1 for handling mods. With the right stuff, you'll make the same leap in handling that you did in power from a stage 1 remap.
