Where exactly does this fit and how long of a job is it to replace?

Is it something i could do in the Garage or does it involve stripping half the engine to get at it?

this tells youhow to get to the right part of VCDS setup and what blocks you need to log.  the first lot "round 1 for fuel and boost diagnosis" is the one you want

5   054-4   Throttle Plate Angle
6   101-3   Injection Timing (Median)
7*   103-1*   Current Fuel Pressure*
8   114-4   N75 Duty Cycle

i did all 4 rounds of logs that they have tabulated and then saved them on the computer.  Its handy to look back on and compare should you suddenly get a problem 6 months down the line.  also really handy for adding mods at a later date
