Hi, I am installing a new HU in the golf. All is fine, but the radio connection is different to that of my standard cables.

Am I going to be OK pulling the 2 covers off the cable or do I need an adaptor?

am sure i read on here people have removed the covers and just wrapped tape round them to hold them in position

Yes just remove the covers and they slot on. Secure with some insulation tape if required! :happy2:
