Title: Hello from Scotland
Post by: coullstar on November 25, 2010, 11:58:38 pm
Evening.  Just bought a bog standard more door Shadow blue Gti last week and im loving it.  Ive had a long line of VW's before and needed to own a Mk5 Gti at some point.  Its my daily car so will be doing just a few things like springs, wheels and maybe a remap.  Bought some new wheels aready but they wont be going on till after winter.

Thanks.  I wanted something OE looking but slightly different.  Started looking at A6 or A8 wheels but couldnt find any I wanted within budget.  I also wanted something easy to clean as Im not one of the detailing type folk.  Ended up buying some CH style replicas with black inserts and diamnond cut faces.  I know they weught more than real ones and are not the same material properties but I liked the look so I can live with the slightly harsher ride.
