Hello everyone, I have just brought an Edition 30 and was wondering if anyone knows how I find out if it has already been assigned a number? Thanks

It will have been numbered already... you need to ring 0800 0833 920 and speak to the "Edition 30 badge Lady"

ok cool thanks, how do I know it hasn't already got a badge?? where would it be?

Inside the doors (the bit opposite the fuse box) usually... although i doubt it will be there as it would appears virtually no editions came with the badge!

It should be on the inside of the drivers door, the bit that when the door closes meets up with the dash end, that said people put them wherever they like as it wasnt done by dealers

When you contact VW UK... they will be able to tell you if your plaque had been issued already (again.. i doubt it as it would be in the car)
If VW havnt got you down as a the registed owner... you might need to scan and email your V5 document to them!

Hey Rich, being a soon to be edition 30 owner, I'm going to get my plaque sorted, esp after having a golf anni. I'm guessing the edition badge you bought, is superglued to the front. Sorry, I'm going to have to copy :ashamed: I want an intake like yours too, I better get looking :)

No its just an OEM ED30 badge (which has a 3m sticky pad on the back) stuck directly on... solid as a rock!

Are you getting mixed up between the Edition 30 badge that is on the boot when the car came from the factory (some people have bought an additional one of these badges and attached it under the GTI badge on the front grill) and the Edition 30 plaques with the unique build numbers on
