Title: grinding noise when loosing traction
Post by: Russ_leeds on November 28, 2010, 07:42:30 pm: hi was on my way home earlier in the snow and when the car lost traction and the wheels began to spin there was a nasty grinding noise coming from the left wheel. it does the noise both with the traction on and off.
any ideas?

If you were really worried about it you could pull the ABS/ESP fuse(s) and see if the noise goes away, but I wouldn't recommend doing it for road use!

It is an awful noise and I'd also like to know the answer. Our mini copper s makes no noise when the traction control kicks in?
