Hi all,
Getting an increasingly nasty knocking sound from my front suspension/steering rack. Noticeable over most bumps, but also now if I move the steering left / right a little while stationary it also knocks. Previously had this into the dealer, and they couldn't find any problems although that was around March/April. Is this likely to be steering bushes or similar? Any idea on price?
Also, I wondered if anyone had any good independent VW garage recommendations for their GTi? I am based in South London, but will travel most places in the London area for good service and reasonable prices. I have a VW dealer very close to me, but the hourly rate in central London is ridiculous.
