Title: Warning excess snow on roof

I know you'll all be well aware of the stupidity and the dangers of not clearing snow off your roof but a friend of a friend has tonight been given an on the spot fine of £60 and 3 points for not clearing the snow off their roof!  :surprised: Stirling area apparently. 

It IS dangerous but a simple pull, clear and warning would surely suffice. IMHO. Anyway I don't want to enter into debate over that point.

 I just wanted to pass on the warning.

I'd have agreed if he was driving a large vehicle, especially a lorry, which could deposit a large amount of snow on to the pleb behind him. How much snow was it? I'd imagine anything more than a light sprinkling should be cleared.

Agree - a warning would have sufficed.

I spotted cat around 6pm (so rush hour) with thick snow covering all the top of the car- front windows/side windows and boot - fooking idiots some people.  At least clear your windows and lights ffs.

i can sort of see why tbh,  today i had some tit pull in front of me, so i had to brake quite hard and it dumped alot of snow down over the front of my car, which completely blocked the windscreen, and i cleanedaround 6" back from the windscreen before leaving as well.  wont be leaving it on the roof again, thats for sure
