????
mine was 6800rpm before but now seem way past 7000rpm
-
On my old Octy it would hit 7.3k.
I have proof but not while I was driving it though. :ashamed:
-
Mm seems like it does then, good stuff
-
IIRC... there not much point in reving TFSI engines past 7K! (that might be BS of course)
edit:- take a look thru the Dyno thread... thats enough prove it for me!
-
Rich - I don't think the people that stole it were that interested,

You mean the people who robbed it failed to take into account the engine characteristic??? Noobs :signLOL:

Only gains you will see with revving over 6.8k will be seen if you have a DSG remap that removes the soft cut limiter IIRC.

How are you finding the switch John?
-
@ all : I dont normally frequent that upper rev range tbh
However the REVO map doesnt tail off in power as much as the APR does so its much happier to go the the redline (which is extended)
Car just pulls hard and fast to the limiter :happy2:
also in 1/4 mile having the ability to extend revs can really improve times if you dont need that extra gearchange too.
@ Ryan : its ffin fantastic :innocent: . Ive done a review on here.
Only downside I can point at is that the mpg has dropped a bit, but then I didnt remap for that :signLOL:
night and day  (and thats only stage 1)

just had my stage one today and yup it seemed to pull and hard fast too about 7k, wowzers could feel the difference straight away
