....
Are "power flow" and "long life" just adjectives or names of exhaust manufacturers? If you used capitals where appropriate I wouldn't need to ask.
-
Power Flow/Long Life exhausts they are customs made systems for your car they both have centers arond the uk I'm surprised you haven't heard of them?

Mat ED30 has just had a custom exhaust done and its great. i think its a Blueflame job

....
Cheers for clarifying that, Mitch :happy2:
I'm afraid I'm a bit of a Milltek fanboy and know them well and so don't need to look elsewhere.
My advice, for whatever it's worth, is to get an exhaust which has been designed and developed specifically for your car model and also with regard to established tuner's remaps. As well as Milltek, Blueflame and APR are also manufacturers who have developed specific exhausts.
It wouldn't be right for me to criticise Power Flow / Long Life as I don't know anything about them.

powerflow are gash, dont go near them, ive had 2 powerflow systems and both were absolutly gash!!!
-
^^^^^^ :signLOL:, not good then??
-
they are just a cheap boy racer/max power make. the back boxes are about 100 quid and their stainless steel is actually stain 'less' steel!! wtf, thats the response i got when i went back to complain that it had turned brown

I'll second the above, if going for a Powerflow, you might as well save your pennies and get a Peco backbox from Halfords. Build quality is atrocious and the drone is horrendous. I've heard good things about Blueflame, apparently they actually do OEM work for the likes of TVR, however I'm happy to corrected on that one. I'm also keen on Miltek (no better way to make an R32 sing), although I've heard they have a tendency to drone on the GTi and the APR is the better option? Again, happy to corrected on that, just what I've read whilst doing my research.

LOL - if it's all the same with you, I think I'll try and get the car first... Just put a new EGR, turbo, inlet and exhaust manifold on my car, so the budget has taken a bit of a hit...
