Title: Passenger vanity mirror light not working??
Post by: berg on December 06, 2010, 10:10:12 am
Hi guys, has anyone had this issue?

Changed bulb - no joy.

Disconnected the holder and there is a VW part number for me to order a new one but cant see how this component would fail. Is there a micro switch in the sun visor which means the light comes on as the mirror cover is moved to open and if so i presume i need to buy a whole new sun visor? Dont really need it to work but bugs me when everything not working!!

Cheers.

ha maybe i should give up now then! i thought it might be a fuse but one fuse controls all of the interior lights so it cant have gone or none of the other lights would work
