Title: New car
Post by: Lukeduke on February 20, 2009, 04:25:24 pm
Greetings all. Picked up my 08 Gti this morning and absolutely love it. Feels much faster than figures suggest and the surges of power are so addictive. Still got 2 years warranty left so will be a while before i start making any mods but keeping my eye on the price of lsd. If it comes down low enough might be forced to make a trip to tuners. Anyway quick question, should my Gti have come with floor mats and if so should they have gti logo?

The GTI came with mats as standard yes, but not with a GTI logo.

Mine is a UK car, 08 Model Year.

I haven't bought any mats, just stuck with the ones that came with the car.

Just looked on the price list for 08MY cars and the GTI came as standard with 'carpet mats, front and rear'. No GTI logos or anything on them at all.

My second hand GTI came without as well, but never mind.

I got mine from work (GSF) for about £30.  That sounds a lot but they've got genuine tabs for the retainers and feel very high quality.

Guys couldn't recommend Jeremy at JustMatz enough.

I had a special set made for my MKIV R32 and the quality was excellent. All the guys at the shows use them.
