Title: Central pair of vents not blowing
Post by: LouCyffer on December 09, 2010, 09:23:09 pm
Noticed that the pair of centre console vents near the hazard waring button aren't blowing. Moving the selector wheel on the aircon grill in the top of the fascia has no effect (it used to though).

Now, either there's a freaky problem, or more likely, something was amiss after I last had the centre console apart (Hands free kit install).

I'm not keen to be pulling at plastic trim while the ambient temperature is so low, so any ideas from the Brains Trust before I get stuck in on Sunday?

Andy if you put the blower on full to the front do you get any air, if not just sounds like the vent is not opening when turned prob just come off the runner.

Either that or the motor is not working to push the air round to the top vents.

Get air from the side (window) vents, and also from the windscreen slot vents. Just not the two central ones, mate.

Thanks Darren, just as you said. Now everything blows!
