Title: more led bulbs - number plate light, puddle lights and sidelights

bought a couple of LED number plate bulbs designed for BMW E60 sold as canbus error free and they work a treat, in my GTI, v bright light, large fins for cooling and no errors :) no affiliation just happy customer:

by contrast bought these for sidelights, great bulbs but set off error immediately:

fine once resistors fitted but not error free on the MkV GTI!!

and neither were these eror free, from HIDS for you:

but they were the very best in the puddle lights, better than the ebay ones above, which are best as sidelights (with resistors). and no canbus eror in the puddlelights, but don't think the puddle lights throw errors.

Interesting, I bought these for the number plate lights on mine,

Worked perfectly so went on to buy the side light bulbs,

these didn’t work at all or would come on for 10 seconds and then go off, rather them send them back moved them to the mirrors as puddle lights, work great in there. Found another supplier for the side lights,

these work with no problems.

I bought these exact same ones for mine a few weeks ago from the same seller and was very impressed also.

Just to confirm... the LED bulbs on the link below are the ones to go for  (and they do not bring up any warning lights).

P.S.  I just realised that one of my rear number plate lights is not working but I've had no error come up on my dash.  Is that right?
