Hi men.
When i drive my DSG ED30 and it changes gear sometimes it makes a nice poping noise.
Can anyone tell me what this is and why does it happen ?

Unburned fuel in the exhaust igniting!
-
Sounds good doesnt it, it does it on all the GTI DSGs! For maximum noise... full throttle change at about 4500-5000RPM! :jumping:

Slap a Non res milltek exhaust on and enjoy it 10 fold :signLOL:

My std gti sometimes pops if i rev it while its on choke

I thought the braaap was down to the DV momentarily relieving boost while the box shuffles the cogs.

It's ignition cut to enable dsg to change gears I think.
