don't know how you manage to have them and not get them on, when I get new stuff I put I on asap LOL, ps I wouldn't think you need spacers ?

Post by: vwrascal on April 24, 2009, 09:17:46 pm: Felt brave last weekend, after leaving halfrauds armed with primer, sand paper and matt black spray paint, I got to work on the rear VW badge (what a mistake)
Badge popped off easyily but the ruddy chrome coating vw put on these things is stronger than arnie on roids!
took me nearly 3 fookin hours to rub it down and my digits are still paying for it :chicken:
After a few coats of paint and a day's hard graft - here are the results

they are 4 piece lights, mine were Ã‚Â£207 from stealers, you can get em cheaper from jkm etc :happy2:

cheers pal, never measured the drop - We just cranked the fronts as low as they would go, and didnt use the adjuster for the rears, so she wont go any lower on these coilies :star:

They are V2's but are not new ones by any means, the dampening was already set for a 'smooth' ride so I didnt adjust them before I put them on. After fitting the ride only feels slightly harsher than stock!! It only rubs on the front when cornering hard - might need raising up 5mm! tbh I was expecting the dash to rattle and for the car to be bouncing all over the shop but I get none of this, the ride is spot on :happy2:

yeah done that chris but still get a bit of rubbage when cornering enthusiasticly*(spelling). :driver: I did expect it to rub a bit - my mate wouldnt fit them unless I wound them down to the lowest setting :signLOL:

I treated myself to some led hb4 fog bulbs, voila..
