Title: Wrapping alloys

I have some OEM zolder r32 alloys and had a friend who wrapped his oem bmw alloys in carbon fibre.
I say this because i wanna keep the original colour and only want it temporary
Looked everywhere and cant find it and friends not here atm
anyone know who does this?

It is possible just make sure you get a hi-grade vinyl without a silver backing, You will then need a heat gun and start from the centre, heat it up then stretch the vinyl tight around the alloys, it will take lots of time and snipping here and there.

Alloys are probably one of the hardest things to wrap, you will struggle, I've been applying vinyl for quite some time now and I will still not do alloys.

Ill give it to a company to do lol. Could this damage the paint on the alloy or cause any damage or should wrapping them be ok?

Wrapping them will be fine, if applied correctly, though not sure how long it will last on the wheels as they take a battering be down low.

The above are insert wraps, to be fair most companys won't do a full alloy wrap, if there do your looking at £250+ If I was to charge I would charge £500+ just as it would take hours per wheel.

Easier to scuff them and get them powder coated lol:P

That is amazing, can someone please send me a link to a website that do this in the uk please.  :happy2:
