i want to fit a new intercooler prior to a revo stage 2 remap ,  does s3 intercooler just fit straight on in place of standard one or is there anything else i need to get or do?

You need the S3 pipes as well, it's not a straight forward job, it's a good few hours work involved.  :happy2:

You are correct, i can remember you having to search the hard shoulder of the motorway for your undertray after install.  :laugh:
