Hi Tommy, I'm running german style pressed alloy plates, got them for £18 a pair delivered from ebay, very good quality.  Still unsure of the legalities but I've not (touch wood) been pulled for them yet.

I've used this company in the past:

http://www.theplateman.com/home.htm (http://www.theplateman.com/home.htm)

Although it did get me into more hassle than it's worth when I had some French banded ones on my 206.

Luke.

Why not just get some legal plates from dubmiester... then you don't have to worry about the 5-0 tugging you?

There is no point trying to help young people make the right choices, you just have to let them get there finger's burn't.

Usually the same lads come back on a few weeks later saying Fooking Rozzer's piss me off.   and blame the police for their stupidity.  :innocent:

I've got some d banded plates that look really good, can't be bothered with unnecessary hassle Off traffic police with them though So just put them on for shows now. If you get the abt surrounds too they can be swapped over in minutes.  :happy2:
Had both of mine from dubmeister about 5 years ago, think they've come down in price since then. Good luck!

Bought a set of Pressed Metal plates from Dubmeister , with a surround for the rear only , several moths ago.  Fully legal ,but have had the odd comment from people saying they look illegal .

They needed all your docs sent in the post first , before they make them .
